A charming floral display at St John's Garden Centre in Barnstaple has been created by the industrious 'busy bee' pupils of Landkey School to help promote their school's open day this Saturday (June 14).Every child contributed to the colourful garden of paper flowers, insects and trees now on display in the Conservatory Restaurant at St John's.Following a great OFSTED report which gave a rating of "good" across the board, the Landkey School Open Day invites prospective parents and the community to find out more about the work of the school and pre-school."We wanted a chance to show everyone what our school could do," said teacher Kerrie Lenehan."The school has strong links with St John's and everyone contributed to making the display, which is based on watching children grow and flourish."Open day at the school in Bakery Way, runs 11am-3pm.
