Don’t miss the Instow Scarecrow Trail this weekend, from Saturday through to Monday (May 4-6).

STRAW dummies, wooden tops and turnip heads will be taking to the streets this weekend for the Instow Scarecrow Trail.

All are welcome to pick up a trail sheet and see how many gaily dressed scarecrows they can spot around the Instow and Yelland area from Saturday until Monday.

It is being organised by Instow School PTFA, with the children and their families busy making their scarecrows for the big event.

Trail sheets cost £12 and all returned sheets will be entered into a prize draw. They are available from Johns on Instow, the school and Graylings Fish & Chip Shop at Fremington.
