Santa Claus is coming to Braunton

Father Christmas’ annual tour of the village with the Braunton Caen Rotary Club will begin on Monday.

SANTA Claus really is coming to town this December – at least, if you live in Braunton.

The Braunton Caen Rotary Club has organised a tour of the village, starting at RMB Chivenor married quarters tomorrow (Monday).

On Tuesday, Santa will be at Saunton Park, starting at West Meadow Road, and on Thursday at West Park, Pill Gardens and Velator.

Santa will end his tour on Friday, starting at The Brittons, along Lower Park Road and finishing at Acland Park.

The tour will take place every evening between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Children can meet Santa at the Rotary Village Carol Service and Christmas Fayre at Braunton Parish Hall tonight (Weds).

He will also be at Braunton Tesco store from 2pm until 4pm on Sunday, December 22.

Last year the Santa run raised £1,538 for local charities which has gone towards the Surf Life Saving Club and Braunton Youth Groups among others.
