Salon staff in the pink

HAIRDRESSING and beauty workers at a Barnstaple salon had a passion for pink last week, all in aid of charity.

Owner Hayley Jones and staff at Passion4Hair and Beauty in Holland Walk all dressed in pink for the day and raised more than 200 for Cancer Research UK.

Along with the clothing, they also made cakes for customers as they invited sponsorship and donations.

The event was organised by hairdresser Lois O’Brien.

She said that she had a special reason to support the charity as her mother had died from cancer, but she believed it was a charity that everyone could relate to. Their event also coincided with the salon’s second birthday.
