Rupert & Buckley, which relaunched last year with new CEO Alex Newman at the helm, is looking to raise £450,000 for the expansion. In 2017 the company invested in a new distribution centre in Barnstaple and opened three stand-alone retail stores in Bath, Durham and Chester. Due to the success of Rupert & Buckley over the last 14 months, were now looking for investment to launch in the US. Were excited to make Rupert & Buckley a global player in the fashion market and to give our investors a healthy return on their belief in us. The company makes high-quality clothing for people aged 25-35, and last year was awarded a three-year contract as the leisurewear partner of The Boat Race. In the UK, the focus of the business will be to continue to develop partnerships with national retailers such as ASOS and House of Fraser, having already received contact from a larger format retail chain.
