South Molton charity shop urges local organisations to come forward and claim a share of the takings.

ROTARIANS in South Molton are asking charity groups to come forward and claim a share of the club’s bumper charity shop takings this year.

Fundraising at the East Street shop have been boosted by special promotions such as a retro sale in recent months, and donations have recently been made to the South Molton Choral Society; South Molton Town Band; and the Myasthenia Gravis Association.

Spokesperson Helen Macintosh said: “The shop continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the generosity of the public and as a result we are anxious to receive requests for funding.”

Applications should be addressed to: The Rotary Charity Shop, 121 East Street, South Molton EX36 3BU.
