THE Rotary Club of Barnstaple has just completed a very successful couple of months of fund-raising for local Rotary charities.
The club has relinquished its tenure of the Rotary shop in the High Street which it took over from the Barnstaple Link club on June 1.
The shop was stocked with a very wide range of goods kindly donated from all over the area and was staffed by members of the Rotary Club with the invaluable help of the Inner Wheel Club of Barnstaple.
It proved to be not only an enjoyable experience for all who worked in the shop but provided a rare opportunity to be in contact with members of the community and at the same time raising money for local Rotary charities.
