WELL known photographer Tony Freeman received a 'Paul Harris Fellowship' award at Barnstaple Link President's Night. This honour is only presented to Rotarians who have shown outstanding service within Rotary and their local community. As well as helping with all the club's fund-raising projects (most recently the successful Rotary Shop in Barnstaple High Street) Tony's role as press and publicity officer at local and district levels have raised the public awareness of Rotary immensely. By coincidence the name Paul Harris cropped up again within 48 hours when Tony attended an exhibition of photographs by his former business partner Paul Harris at The Venue on Barnstaple's Strand. For the past 30 years, Paul has been an acclaimed photographer in Hollywood and visitors to his exhibition would have been amazed to see how a local lad has been regularly snapping the world's greatest stars.
