Roadworks warning for Fremington motorists

Fibre optic cable laying along the B3233 could last for up to six months.

MOTORISTS are being warned of temporary delays in Instow, Yelland, Fremington and Bickington, starting this week for up to six months.

Work by BT to install fibre optic cable along the B3233 from Barnstaple to Bideford is set to begin on Friday and could last until the end of July.

The company said temporary traffic lights would be in place between 9am and 4pm.

BT said it expected to complete a section from Instow to Bideford by the start of the Easter holidays.
