A cat found living in squalor has found his happy ending thanks to North Devon Animal Ambulance (NDAA).Cosmo was discovered by bailiffs abandoned in a flat with four other cats, a dog and a snake. He was taken into the care of the animal rescue charity, who regularly pay visits with some of their animals to care homes. Golden Sands Residental Home in Westward Ho! took a shine to the feline friend, and now he has taken up a permanent residence there. Charity founder Diana Lewis said: Cosmo is a joy to the staff and residents and has really landed on his feet. Many of the residents who cant even remember what they did yesterday could speak for hours about their dogs or cats from 50 years ago. NDAA is asking any residential homes who would like a visit to get in touch. Diana added: It is an absolute joy to do and the residents get so much out of a visiting cat, dog or rabbit.North Devon Animal Ambulance is currently appealing for donations of towels for its special care unit in Pottington. Drop any donations to the unit itself or at the charity shop in Bideford High Street.
