REMEMBER loved one at a memorial service in St Brannocks Church, Braunton, on Sunday, November 16.It is a chance for those who have lost someone close, whether recently or in years gone by, to cherish their memories and look towards the future. The event begins at 6.30pm and is open to all who would like to attend. Loved ones will be remembered by name during the evening when candles will be lit in their memory, together with moments of quietness, prayer and music."Most assume a funeral service is for the bereaved, that you have a service in order to help the mourners come to terms with the death of a loved one," said the Reverend Anne Thorne, Vicar of Braunton."But life isn't as simple as that, it takes more than one service for people to come to terms with the death of someone they loved and treasured. We hope this service will be helpful to all those who have been bereaved."After the service light refreshments will be served in the Church Hall. All are very welcome.
