The event, which is held at Barnstaple Rugby Club, begins at noon on Saturday, and runs until noon on Sunday. Team members will take it in turns to walk around a track. There is still time to sign up for the event, which is free to enter. However, fundraisers are asked to try and raise donations of £200, which will go towards fighting cancer. Part of the event will also see a survivors lap, with a lap of honour of the track. There will also be a candle of hope ceremony as darkness descends. Throughout the day there will be live music, food and entertainment including face painting, stalls, dancers and inflatable fun. There will also be a chance to learn more about the symptoms of cancer. To enter a team for Relay For Life before Saturday, and find out more about the event, visit http://relay.cancerresearchuk.org.
