TORRIDGE District Council's refuse and recycling lorries have all left their depots this morning (Thursday) and will attempt to complete their normal rounds.Lorries are carrying a limited amount of salt for use if necessary but the council is asking people to be aware there may still be disruption to the service in some affected areas."We would like to apologise to our residents if they have missed a collection this week due to the adverse weather conditions - we anticipate that the normal service will be resumed from Monday, February 9," said a spokesperson.The council offices at Riverbank House, Bridge Buildings, the Town Hall, Torrington Area Office, Caddsdown Business Support Centre and the Burton Art Gallery & Museum are all open. Holsworthy Area Office is shut as usual on a Thursday.
