PEOPLE in the Torridge district can recycle their Christmas cards by taking them to council offices at Bridge Buildings and Riverbank House in Bideford and Torrington or Holsworthy Manor, where wheelie bins are in place to receive them.It is pointed out that cards should not be placed in householders' own wheelie bins, as many of them will not compost down.Christmas trees can be put out for recycling with householders' own green wheelie bins on their next collection date. Those who do not have a green wheelie bin collection, but still wish to recycle their trees, can take them to the following locations: Caddsdown Recycling Centre, Bideford; Deep Moor Tip, High Bullen; or Anvil Corner, HolsworthyPeople unable to take them to the recycling facilities and who do not have a green wheelie bin collection can put their trees out with their normal domestic refuse, but these will not be recycled.
