Sunshine saw visitor numbers soar at The BIG Sheep over the weekend.

A North Devon tourism attraction has enjoyed record visitors this Easter weekend.

Rick Turner, director of The BIG Sheep, said: “A combination of great weather, lots of new born lambs and the South West’s largest Easter Egg Hunt has really filled up the park this weekend.

“Record numbers for an early Easter is an amazing result, and bodes well for the rest of the holidays and for the rest of the 2015 season.

“We are 25 per cent up on last Easter in our visitor numbers and five per cent up on our record ever Easter.

“Continuing innovation and investment into new attractions has really paid off and we are hugely excited about our big new ride, which is in the construction stages and will be North Devon’s largest Roller Coaster and the biggest ever investment in a tourist attraction in North Devon.”

Devon’s largest, tallest and longest Roller Coaster is due to open at The BIG Sheep before the main summer holidays.
