Pynes pupils take the sporting challenge

Bideford children raise nearly �1,500 for child abuse charity

SPORTY pupils at Pynes Community Infant School in Bideford have risen to the challenge to help put an end to child cruelty.

Youngsters from the reception and Year 1 and Year 2 classes raised �1,442 during a sponsored sports challenge event for national child abuse charity NSPCC.

Their fund-raising efforts followed a visit from the charity by at the start of term.
