YOUNG people in Barnstaple are showing their support for people suffering from domestic violence this week.Children from the town's primary and secondary schools, and students from North Devon College, are due to congregate on The Square as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Week, today (Wednesday), from 1.45pm.Local musicians Jenna Witts and Jim Jones will be joined by a band from North Devon College, while Mary Nisbett from the Devon Children's Trust will make a short speech and at approximately 2.30pm.It is hoped that everyone on the Square will then join in and sing Silent Night. The event has been organised as part of Barnstaple's Winter Festival.
