HARDY pupils at Burrington Primary School have been braving the snow this morning to help elderly folk in the village to get out and about.Youngsters and staff grabbed shovels and helped to clear drives and pathways after around three-to-four inches of snow fell overnight.Teacher Bob Walters told the Gazette: "Burrington is well snowed in today but around 25 of the school's 30-or-so pupils still made it into school so we though we'd do a bit of community service by helping to clear snow around the village."There are quite a lot of senior citizens in Burrington and the pathways to the local shop were quite icy under foot.
