PATRIOTIC youngsters from South Molton United C of E Junior School painted their school red and white to celebrate St Georges’ Day.

The red cross took centre stage at the school on April 23, with many pupils wearing red and white in honour of England’s patron saint.

Children also enjoyed a traditional school dinner of roast beef with all the trimmings followed by apple cake.

Meanwhile the Big Sheep family attraction near Bideford celebrated St George’s Day by offering free entry to any visitors named George, Georgina and Georgia.
