A 'CLEAR the air' meeting is being held in South Molton on Wednesday to update members of the public on key regeneration plans for the town.The meeting in the Assembly Rooms will give North Devon Council members and officers the chance to report on the current progress of proposals for the town's central area.It will start at 7pm, immediately before the South Molton Area 2000 (MA2K) AGM.MA2K chairman, Tryphena Huntingford, told the Gazette that the meeting would set the scene on current developments.She said: "There has been a lot of information that has come out in dribs and drabs and the purpose of this meeting is to enable the council to give MA2K members, and members of the public, a clear picture of where we are."Speaker Steve Pitcher will be along from the district council to update on plans for a new supermarket and health centre in the central car park area, as well as the relocation of the livestock market to Pathfields Business Park."We hope the meeting will clear the air a little and enable us to see whether collectively, more can be done to push the process through.
