Pub gets ready to party – Del Boy style!

The Wrey Arms finds an eye-catching way to advertise its Royal Wedding party

A BARNSTAPLE pub has found a “three-wheely” good way of advertising its Royal Wedding party.

The Wrey Arms at Sticklepath has installed its own bright yellow tribute to the royal couple in the form of a Del Boy-style Robin Reliant.

Landlady Jane Pearce, said she remembered the Queen’s Silver Jubilee and hoped to replicate the same sense of family community with the pub’s alternative Royal Party on Friday, April 29.

“Combining the two great British traditions of a Royal Wedding and a Robin Reliant seemed the obvious choice and it is certainly proving popular with the locals and visitors to the area,” said Jane.
