BUDDING artists at Pynes Infants School have once again been recognised in the British Fuchsia Society's 2007 painting and colouring competition.They have won third prize in Class 4 - for schools with children aged up to 9 years old, plus individual prizes. The competition attracted 867 entries and judges commented on the high standards and excellent control of colour and shading used in the entries this year.Individual award winners were: Athena Clements, best picture from Pynes School and third best picture in class 4; Cathan Hawkes second best picture in class 4; Kaylee Brown third best picture in class 4; Abbie Francis and Caitlin Pengilly were both highly commended for their entries. The school is now hoping to see the entries on display in the forthcoming 2008 Fuchsia Shows.
