Power tools stolen during building site break-in

Police investigate Barnstaple theft

POWER tools worth thousands of pounds have been stolen from a Barnstaple building site.

Around �3,000 worth of carpenters’ equipment was taken during the burglary in Bear Street, backing onto the dairy and Gaydon Steet Motors, during the weekend July 23 to 25.

Among the items reported missing are Dewalt drills, saw and mitre sliding saw; a Bosch drill, planer and jigsaw; Erbauer router; as well as an Olympus Stylus 400 digital camera and various batteries and chargers.

Police are investigating the theft and have asked anyone with any information to contact PC Nick Rowell on 08452 777444 ext 81341 and quote police log CB/11/2208.
