It’s time for North Devon and Torridge to cast their votes as polling stations open for the general, district and town and parish elections today (Wednesday).

It’s been building up for months - and now the polling stations are officially open for you to cast your vote.

Those registered to vote can do so by visiting their nearest polling stations between now and 10pm tonight (Wednesday, May 7).

Ballot papers will be handed out for the general, district, and town and parish elections.

You’ll be voting for who you want to represent you in parliament - with the results expected by 4am tomorrow (Thursday) deciding who will rule the country.
