57-year-old Mike Rowley died after a collision with a lorry
Police have named the car driver who died following a collision with a lorry on the A39 near Bideford.
The driver, who died on January 14, has been named as 57-year-old Mike Rowley from Bideford.
Police and other emergency services were called shortly before 6.53am to the collision.
The red Volvo lorry, registered to Bideford, overturned, shedding its load of logs across the carriageway on the A39, two miles from Bideford, towards Barnstaple.
Paramedics treated Mr Rowley, who was driving a silver Subaru Impreza, at the scene before taking him to North Devon District Hospital where he died.
The male lorry driver was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.
The male driver of a BMW was also treated at the scene for minor injuries caused as a result of logs falling from the lorry.
The road was closed at Westleigh and Roundswell until 5.25pm that evening.
