FIRE appliances from Combe Martin and Ilfracombe raced to Boots in High Street, Combe Martin following reports of a fire yesterday (Saturday).

The incident involved a waste bin in the ground floor toilets and the fire fighters used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

Police are investigating the incident.
