Witnesses sought after £1,140 of goods taken during daylight burglary at Guineaford.

A day time burglary on an isolated house at Guineaford saw thieves take an expensive musical instrument, jewellery and cash.

A dark pine Fylde mandola stringed instrument worth £600 was part of the £1,140 haul, after thieves smashed a rear window to get inside the home at the village near Barnstaple.

The theft was on Thursday, July 18 between 8.30am-2.45pm and police want to hear from anyone who might have seen anything suspicious, or any strange vehicles, in the area during those times. Call 101, quoting crime reference CN/13/237.
