Police hunt ‘flowerpot vandal’

Investigation under way after early morning attack on Torrington home

POLICE are investigating an early morning act of criminal damage to a house in Torrington.

A man was seen banging loudly on the front door of a home in New Street at around 5.45am on Saturday, October 1.

He is then thought to have picked up a flower pot and launched it through the double glazed front door window causing around �200 worth of damage.

The suspect is described as white, about 30 years old, of large build and around 5ft 10 in height.

He has short hair and was wearing a beige baseball cap, cream coloured jacket and beige jeans.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to telephone police on 101 and ask to speak to crime investigation officer Nick Rowell, quoting crime number CT/11/421.
