Police day of action in Appledore
POLICE will be out in force in Appledore next Wednesday (Oct 14) as part of Operation Everest. They will be setting up at the main car park slipway for a Marine Watch initiative, with outboard motor covers, property and identidot engine markers, posters,
POLICE will be out in force in Appledore next Wednesday (Oct 14) as part of Operation Everest.
They will be setting up at the main car park slipway for a Marine Watch initiative, with outboard motor covers, property and identidot engine markers, posters, information leaflets and advice on how to combat thefts of and from marine craft.
Neighbourhood Beat, crime prevention and other officers will also be giving advice on general crime prevention measures.
It is all part of a special day of action, with officers throughout the Force taking a variety of initiatives out into their communities.
