Police appeal after motorbike arson attack

The bike was left damaged after being set alight in Queen Street car park in Barnstaple on Saturday.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a black Suzuki 600 motorbike was set on fire in Queen Street car park in Barnstaple.

A fire engine from the town arrived at the scene of the suspected arson at around 10.20pm on Saturday.

The bike was slightly damaged in the fire and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to call non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference CB/13/1930.
