Orchard Vale School pupils will be taking to the catwalk tonight (Friday) for their annual fashion show. All are welcome to go along to watch pupils and staff model a variety of outfits from Sainsburys, Saltrock, Daws and the CLIC Sargent charity shop. Tickets are £3 and available at the door, with all proceeds from this years event going to the schools forest school project. The 7pm show was saved at the 11th hour by CLIC after a bridal shop pulled out and the charity shop offered to provide a variety of bridal wear and wedding gowns in the nick of time. Some of the younger staff have brought in their prom dresses and these will be modelled by former Orchard Vale pupils who now attend Park School. We are very grateful to all those who helped out and to CLIC Sargent for stepping in at the last minute to save the day, said Dawn Crabb at the school. She thanked all the stores for letting pupils go along and try on their outfits, as well as Tesco Extra for supplying a hamper for the raffle.
