AN anxious dog owner is hoping some one in the Westward Ho! or Northam area can help her find her lost tricoloured collie lurcher cross Girly, who went missing a week ago.
Beryl Tennant has been searching throughout the area after the rescue dog, who is very shy around people, escaped from her daughter's garden on Tuesday, June 1 by jumping a six foot wall and a fence.
Girly is coloured like a collie, but with distinctive lurcher looks of a pointed face and thin body.
She also had a docked tail, a legacy of her mistreatment before she was rescued by the Dogs Trust and rehomed with Beryl, who has formed a strong bond with her.

Girly has been seen scavenging among rubbish bins at Westward Ho! but is very nervous and unlikely to approach anyone other than Beryl. She is micro-chipped and wears a yellow collar.
If you see her, please call Beryl Tennant on (01237) 474360.
