Dog of the Week with Dogs Trust Ilfracombe.

Max is a lovely nine-year-old boxer cross who came into Dogs Trust Rehoming centre as a stray from Scotland.

Poor Max had lots of lumps and bumps removed when he first arrived but has recovered well. He can be a bit nervous but is fine once he gets to know you.

He is still quite playful and loves to go on his walks and play with his ball. He knows his basic commands and loves his treats. He does a kennel at Dogs Trust, but is a little choosy who with.

The charity feels Max would be best suited to a family with older children because of his initial wariness and he would live with or without a canine companion.
