Princess Anne paid a visit to Holsworthy yesterday (Monday) to officially open the new livestock market.

The Princess Royal was greeted by dignitaries, school children and many who turned out waving flags for her arrival.

The AgriBusiness Centre was the largest single project ever undertaken by Torridge District Council, and is operated by auctioneers Kivells.

This is the second time the princess has visited the region this year, as she took a ride on Lynton and Lynmouth’s cliff railway in April.
