May pole dancing, vintage vehicles, and the crowning of the May Queen and King at Northam May Fair

Northam came alive with the sounds and colours of May Fair this weekend.

On Saturday the town celebrated the occassion with vintage vehicles, displays, stalls and dancing.

Entertainment began after the mayor, Chris Leather, officially opened the fair at 10am.

The May Queen and King were crowned, followed by traditional maypole dancing.

The fair re-started six years ago and included the entire village, with vintage vehicles parading through the town.

John Puddy was also there with his steam traction engine rides.
