Visitors to Berry Castle were taken back in time with living history on Sunday.

Visitors to an Iron Age hill fort near Torrington were taken back in time with a live re-enactment this weekend.

People were invited to look around the Berry Castle site in Huntshaw Wood for a family fun day last Sunday.

The scheduled monument there is thought to date back 2,600 years.

There were several guided tours throughout the day as well as plenty of activities., and was held as part of the Festival of Archaeology, coordinated by the Council for British Archaeology.
