Appledore showcased its wares with food, drink and entertainment during weekend summer festival.

Appledore Summer Festival took place this weekend with food, crafts and music taking over the village.

There was plenty of talent on display from the various local craftspeople, from paintings and photography to stained glass.

Adding to the atmosphere, performers played live music throughout the festival - showcasing a variety of different genre.

The summer festival took place from Friday until yesterday (Sunday).

Docton Vourt was the winner of the window displau competition, while Pat Marsden and Dawn Bartlett were the winners of the door knocker competition.

Chairman Barry Edwards said: "I am delighted with the response and support of everyone involved - showing Appledore's vibrant community."
