Police and fire services were called to the A361 at Tiverton yesterday (Monday) after a car transporter carrying around 10 vehicles overturned The single vehicle collision saw the lorry, which was carrying around 10 cars, leave the road and roll over at around 5.45pm. Fire crews from Tiverton, Cullumpton and Middlemore called to the A361 between the M5 and Gornhay Cross. Fire fighters had some difficulty accessing the incident due to heavy traffic in the area and requested a further crew from Bampton with extra lighting as well as heavy rescue vehicles and equipment.
