A PICNIC and a murder mystery are in the offing in Bideford this month.
Torridge Walk and Talk scheme is holding a bring-and-share picnic in Victoria Park at 11.30am on Sunday, August 23, followed by a murder mystery walk around Bideford.
Those attending are asked to bring some food to share at the picnic and there will be a marquee for shelter if it is wet.
From noon to 1pm Tony Truscott and Judith Christie will be playing folk music.

Those taking part in the murder mystery walk will take part in groups and be given a booklet supplying the clues and tasks of the walk. There is no set time limit for this walk. This event is suitable for all ages, families and abilities and is completely free.
