Smiles all around as Mickey and Minnie Mouse led the procession through the village on Sunday.
BLUE skies shone over the Witheridge St John’s fair day as the village showed off its medieval charm on Sunday.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse led the parade through the village to the music of Crediton Town Band, followed by an array of vintage vehicles and tractors.
Motorbikes, majorettes, schoolchildren, a hawk, beagles, stag hounds and entertainers all joined in the fun.
The fire engines brought up the rear, with visitors gathering to hear the 750 year old charter and watch the children dancing.

“Once a year Witheridge comes together to celebrate what we have – a North Devon village with fields of crops and livestock in all directions and The Two Moors Way through the centre.
“St John’s Fair is organised and run by volunteers giving their time and energy for nothing and it will probably all happen again next year.”
After the procession there was music from Bideford Pipe Band, stalls and entertainment, ferret races, a dog show and even egg throwing for all.
The next fair’s date has already been set for June 20, 2015.
