BLAZE the bunny and his friend Gismo the cat paid a special pre-Easter visit to Heanton Nursing Home in Braunton, much to the delight of residents and staff.They even allowed their owner Naomi Porter, who is a carer at the specialist dementia home, to join them.To the absolute delight of the residents Gismo and Blaze wandered through the home and introduced themselves to everyone, thoroughly enjoying the petting and attention they received on the way! "Our activities team are totally committed to ensuring residents enjoy a varied, stimulating activities programme," said Sue Trott, Nurse Manager of Heanton."It was a pleasure to see the amazement and joy on our residents faces as they interacted with the animals, it caused such a buzz across the home that they still can't stop talking about it!
