'Petrol bomb' youths arrested in Barnstaple
THREE teenagers were arrested in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) after being found to be in possession of what appeared to be a petrol bomb. Police officers came across the youths, two aged 16 and one 18, acting suspiciously at around 3.50am
THREE teenagers were arrested in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) after being found to be in possession of what appeared to be a petrol bomb.
Police officers came across the youths, two aged 16 and one 18, acting suspiciously at around 3.50am in the Rose Lane area, Whiddon Valley, close to industrial buildings.
When the officers stopped them, they were in possession of what was thought to be a petrol bomb and the necessary items to ignite it.
The youths are currently in custody at Barnstaple police station and inquiries are continuing.
