ENVIRONMENTAL artist Linda Gordon is inviting people to help make a pebble labyrinth on Northam Burrows. The event on Sunday, April 26, will be a celebration of Earth Day 2009."The labyrinth is a time-honoured way of relaxing the mind and drawing attention to our immediate surroundings and our connection with the Earth. When the pebbles are all laid in place, we will be able to walk our individual paths to the centre of the labyrinth and back out again. The idea is to have fun, while giving us pause for reflection upon this beautiful coastal landscape that is our home," said Linda. "Bring your friends and relations. Bring a picnic. Bring your musical instruments, cameras, camcorders or sketch books if you have them."Labyrinth makers should meet in the car park near the boardwalk over the pebbleridge and the event will run from 11am to 4pm.
