Our sincere thanks

I’m very proud to be a soldier in the Bideford Corps Salvation Army. We meet on Sunday and Tuesday afternoons in the Bideford Baptist Church.

In past years I have helped with our army’s door-to-door annual appeal, but we are no longer able to do that. However, we are still involved with collecting money for the army’s ongoing community work in the UK.

On Saturday, September 8, we were given permission to collect in the foyer of Morrisons store. It was good to meet with so many people who gave so generously. A total of 317.47 has been deposited in the annual appeal account.

We say a sincere “thank you” to the manager and staff at Morrisons and to everyone who gave money to us on that day.

We would love to see more people coming to our weekly meetings. You would receive a very warm welcome if you came.

Thank you again.
