A new Instow café is holding a special open day on Thursday (July 16) to celebrate its opening.Johns of Instow opened up its new café after expanding into the former gallery next door to its store. And, tomorrow, owners Anthony and Sue Johns will be hosting a day to show off the new facilities, from 8am-7pm. Anthony, the fourth generation to run the business, said: We are delighted how well our customers have reacted to our new café and the refitted delicatessen, shop and post office. We will have competitions for local children and adults to celebrate our open day. There will be a drawing competition for children to enter, while older children and adults will have the chance to enter a selfie competition with our 1940s ice-cream tricyle. The café was successfully opened after Sue and Anthony applied for Leader 5 funding.Click here to return to our homepage for more North Devon news.
