Open day at Barnstaple care home

All welcome to attend informal drop in day at Berry House in Newport to find out more about the charity.

BERRY House care home at Newport in Barnstaple is opening its doors to the public on Tuesday (May 1) from 10am- 6pm.

The home is run by The Forget-Me-Not Project charity and it offers respite care and short breaks for people with learning disabilities who aged 18- 65.

The charity is keen to raise awareness of Berry House and to enable more people to use the facility. Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible, whilst being closely supervised to ensure their needs are being met.

Those in receipt of direct payments from the Learning Disability Team (are welcome to use their allowance to visit Berry House. For more details contact house manager Martin Thompson on 01271 323879.
