AN awards night honouring members of the police force in North Devon and their civilian partners was held at the Civic Centre in Barnstaple on Monday.
A number of awards were presented to recognise good work.
Superintendent Kevin Harris said: 'This is really only the tip of the iceberg in respect of the levels of professionalism and dedication that I see among my staff every day as they seek to serve their communities across North Devon and Torridge.
"It is good to celebrate some of this work and I am very proud to command a team that has helped to reduce crime year on year and make it the third safest area of the country."
