Brian Hogg scaled the hill 24 times for charity over the weekend.

A man from Bishop’s Tawton has raised more than £1,500 for a cancer charity after spending 24 hours walking and cycling up and down Codden Hill.

Brian Hogg completed his Let’s Fill the Hill challenge on Sunday morning, after cycling up the hill 24 times.

Around 150 supporters came out to watch Brian complete the challenge for ChemoHero, a North Devon cancer charity which provides practical items for women undergoing cancer treatment.

Brian said: “I’d like to say thanks to all who joined me for the event, it really made a difference and kept me motivated.

“My legs are very sore, but overall we had a great weekend and I’m so pleased I completed the challenge.”
