The new-look North Devon Gazette is coming very soon and now publishers Clear Sky Publishing Ltd have announced details of the team leading the exciting project.

Clear Sky, also owners of the Torbay Weekly, say the refinement in its structure is to reflect the strengths of its team .

As Editor in Chief , Jim Parker has responsibility for the editorial strategy of both businesses. Jim will be looking to develop further the community content model that has worked so well in Torbay as well as introduce its features into the North Devon Gazette. Jim's role will further expand to incorporate any acquisitions or new launches.

Joe Bulmer's role as Editor of the North Devon Gazette has been extended to Digital Editor Clear Sky . Reporting to Jim, whilst remaining responsible for content in North Devon Joe has also been tasked with growing digital and social audience in both North Devon and Torbay and across any future acquisitions or new launches.

Nikki Belso's outstanding work on the Torbay Weekly has been recognized by her appointment as Print Production Editor Clear Sky Publishing Ltd. Nikki will now take over the editorial production of the North Devon Gazette alongside the Torbay Weekly . This both acknowledges Nikki's strengths and allows Jim and Joe to focus on their broader roles.

Managing Director and shareholder Chris Coward said: "This is a very positive development in our journey and one which recognises our ambitions to grow and provide broader solutions.  Jim's Community model has been an outstanding success with our readers in Torbay and we now look to strengthen it across our portfolio as we reach a wider audience. "

Jim said: "Our community content model has been well-received in Torbay and it's great to be given the opportunity to roll it out across North Devon. With an outstanding editorial team, led by Joe and Nikki, coupled with the passion and enthusiasm of our commercial people, I am confident we can produce a newspaper which will be just as well-received by the community in North Devon."
