Whether you are a fan of a full-on fry-up, or simply crave a croissant in the morning, North Devon Hospice’s Big Breakfast event is right up your street.

Now in its 10th year, Big Breakfast is a way of communities getting together for a bountiful brekkie and making a donation to North Devon Hospice.

The next one is tomorrow (Friday) at Lilico's in Barnstaple from 9am-noon and there is another on Saturday at Brayford Village Hall from 9-11.30am.

With events taking place across the area, in venues ranging from village halls to local pubs, there is sure to be one on your doorstep.

Gerard Fawcitt, from the hospice's fundraising team, said: "Spring is in the air and we see dozens of Big Breakfast events spring up all over North Devon. "It is something our local community has really embraced and this year we have a host of breakfast events ready to welcome people in.

"It's a wonderfully easy way for people to show their support, because they can drop in for a delicious breakfast and make a donation for what they've eaten, every pound of which helps the hospice care for local people."

Philip Dennis Foodservice is once again sponsoring the event.
